What the real name for this UMPC will become, is something we could net get an answer to. In one leaflet, the device is marked as HTC Advantage, and until recently the device had the codename "HTC Athena". We expect that the final name will be HTC X7500, due to the names of the other devices.

The HTC X7500 is the same device as the T-Mobile Ameo. The device has a 5 inch display with a 640 x 480 resolution. The device operates on Windows Mobile 5 and is equipped with a 3 megapixel camera.

Due to its size, the device cannot be seen primarily as a phone, but more as the extension of an office. The laptop can be left at the office because the device offers internet, e-mail and Office applications. Calling can only be done by handsfree or with a headset. However, the internet experience on the device can be named phenomenal.

The HTC P3350 does not have UMTS support, what makes videocalling impossible. HTC did think of WiFi b/g support. The quad-band device is compatible with GSM 850, GSM 900, GSM 1800 and GSM 1900 networks and can also cope with EDGE networks for broadband data connections.

All announced HTC devices will come to the European market at the second quarter of 2007.
